Well I broke the handle on my Mauser and have a new bolt on order.
Now I am looking at the firing pin spring.
reason, I am jealous!
The guy that sits next to me at the range shoots Remington!
Works the bolt with 1 finger.
I shoot a mauser and it takes both hands.
It is a model 95 spanish and the firing pin spring has always been a doozy.
Is there a way to reduce the stregnth of the spring and still have it work correctly?
I did it on a M95 Steyr once and it was much better but have never taken any out of a Mauser spring.
Any comments and help appreciated.
