444 Marlin butt stock

Mine is a 1971, 24" rifle with a straight grip butt stock, I need a new butt stock. Straight grip stocks can be had but my rifle stock is configured for a semi crescent butt and I like it.
Does anyone know of a source for a direct replacement, finished or semifinished but fully inletted?

I would try Boyds first. They have a large selection of two-piece stocks for shotguns and rifles and I would be surprised if it didn't include your rifle.

Just back from checking Boyd's website, not encouraging. They don't list anything like mine and they don't do duplications. I need a straight stock with semi crescent butt. They offer a stock with a shotgun butt, thats not what I want. Thanks for pointing me to them, I'll continue my search. I do know a stock maker in Rexburg Idaho that has a duplicator. I'll give him a call.
