If you want to save yourself some cash, you can use Lee 6cav handles with 2cav RCBS moulds, and Lyman handles can be made to fit fairly easily, too.

There are only slight differences in thickness between the different brands, but if the prongs on the handle that the mould slips onto are a bit thick (like Lyman handle with RCBS mould) they can easily be ground down a bit. Likewise if the mould is a little loose on the handles, it does no harm to the mould in use and may even make it easier to drop the bullets if the mould is acting sticky.

recently i bought two kal-tec handles, one for a four cavity lyman and one for a lyman two cavity. these are fine handles, expencive but very good quailty in my opinion, but lee handles are a good value iv'e had no complaints with them. i have little expericence with steel molds, so i aquired 3 lymans and 2 rcbs all gc in handgun cals. so i can compare with lee - and noe, i have 2 mihec .502 brass molds i have not cast with em yet but this guy produces some high quailty work. i'm waiting on 5 gb molds 1 noe and 4 cramer style brass mihec. i think its time to stop buying molds. well thanks again for the info. allways looking for something to tinker with next gc making that ought to kee:lol:p me amused for awhile, my wife says i'm worse than a kid. i'm not sure how to take that!
