Used a sharp blade around some various size jar lids to cut some circles out of red colored paper, taped one each to printer paper -- voila! Instant targets!

Had some newbie shooters at the range -- they were very excited when they hit the bull, and could easily see where their other shots went. Lots of fun!

Those cheezy little pie-sized paper plates that you get for picnics also make great targets. They are thick enough to setup and hold their shape. Just stick on some colored tape or use a magic marker to make a bullseye.

I use the lids from jars and tin cans for targets. They are going to end up in the trash anyway, might as well lighten them up a bit first.

Balloons blown up and the ends stapled to a 2 x 4 on the ground make a nice target at 50 yds or so for a rifle. Come into 20 yds for a pistol.

I love to hang bowling pins on chains from an ovehead horizontal piece of lumber. See how many you can get to dance at one time. I also use railroad plates that are used to hold the rails to the cross ties. They have four holes already drilled through them and dance pretty good when hit with something bigger than a .22 lr.

Caution when shooting these as richochets are possible and small shards of lead and such will fly back over 20 yds so good eye protections is mandatory. Long leeged pants and long sleeved shirts also may prevent some owies.
