Has anyone reloaded any full-length (2-1/2") brass cased .410 shotshells and/or slugs for use in a Winchester 9410 Lever-Action shotgun? I would like to use the
.41 Magnum, 210 Grain JHP pistol bullet and .444 Marlin cases or Magtech full-length .410 brass cases but, I have no idea what powder load to use.

straight up 410 loads.
the bullets will be like a slug.
convert the weight into oz's, 392 grs is an ounce as i recall.
then just follow the data as outlined in the books.

The current MagTech shells are Balloon Head: NOT for modern smokeless powder. Black and substitutes are OK, but all that I have seen say NO to an other powder. decades ago ALCAN had brass shells that could handle the smoke;less powders, but they and the Rem primers for them are no longer available. I load 83 gr Pyrodex in my Bras shells, and clean the Doubles thoroughly.

I have loaded 444 cases as 2 3/8th" 410 rounds using a Winchester 410 shot cup and various shot sizes with an overshot card crimped by the 444 seating die roll crimp feature. They work well in single and double guns, Taurus Judge and will work, but not well in my Mossberg bolt action 410. We tried them in a 9410, could not get them to feed out of the magazine and into the chamber. Shorter than standard length probably was the problem.

I've loaded Magtech 16 ga shells for years with smokeless for my 2.5" drilling. The turkey loads are very hot (1350 fps). No signs of case failure ever.
