The lightest bullet I find listed is a 180gr jacketed. I am asuming that's because the normal barrel twists won't stabilize anything smaller, but that doesn't mean you can't experiment, especially with cast bullets.
Lyman lists for 180 Jacketed: C is a compressed load

Pistol bullets might come apart at rifle velocities so please don't push them. I would use cast bullets for extra saving and less worry.

I'm sure someone at http://castboolits.gunloads.com/ has tried them with pistol powders.

you could try the stand by cast loads too 10-12 grs unique or red dot.
5 grs bullseye. or 15-20 grs of 2400.
most of these will be under 2000 fps and in the speed of where the bullets are designed to work.
