With a full mag the little Glock 27 does not seem much heavier than the little Smith model 60. If I could get the final ninth round in the magazine. Think I may need that magazine loader. Oh well guess I just need another trip to the lgs.

J1 you won't regret getting it, those little mags are a b*tch to load.
The loading tool that comes with it does take most of the effort out of it, but like most any hi-cap mag, those last couple of rounds are always the hardest to cram into the damned things. When I forget to put the loading tool in my shooting bag, I only load 11 rounds in each (the G21 mags hold 13), it saves a lot of wear and tear on arthritic hands. I had a G23 mag that no matter how hard you pushed, that last round would not go in. When I took it apart I found a fragment of scrap plastic sitting in the bottom that was preventing it like the plug in a shotgun. I had wondered why it rattled and the other two didn't....
