They can be formed from .45-70 cases, but you have to lathe-turn the rims down.
I would be looking at Privi or Wolf (Privi cases in Wolf boxes) loaded ammo - it is relatively inexpensive, Boxer primed, and reasonably common. The brass is good and you will get many loadings out of it.
