My back surgery went so well that this time I'm not going to have to learn a new way to shoot offhand! It will be a while before I can handle anything more than very light loads, but as I've been casting for my rifles for the last thirty-some-odd years I don't think that will be much of an issue. I still have to wait a couple of weeks before heading to the range, but I can handle that. After the last one (a full lumbar fusion) it took over two years before I was hitting consistently again and another year before I was satisfied with my accuracy. I had to go back to the very basics to find a workable position, which took several months of trial and error. I might even be able to bird hunt this fall........
