Default marlin 336 and new butt stock.

I finally got off my butt and started working on the old Western Auto (Marlin 336) and have got the butt stock about ready to put on. I have to find where the 1 mm hold the stock back is. I have used lipstick but still have not found the bugger. It is a heavy walnut with a check piece. It seems to fit my face quite well.

I hope to bring it up for you to see. I will have more free time this coming summer, I think.
