    Default need info 35 rem with pistol boolist

    new to this cite, i need some help finding info on reloading pistol boolits in my 14" 35 rem. 110 and 158 xtp or cast. i would like to get info about h110 if it can be used.

    Hi Seth, welcome to the forum.
    I shoot it in a rifle with 180gr cast.
    I don't find H110 listed in the Sierra manual's SSP section.
    The lightest bullets listed are 158's and for those they recommend H4227 26.0gr at 2050fps to a max of 30.0 at 2300fps. Other powders they list are N133, IMR4198, AA2015BR, RE7, and H322. Hope this is some help.

    thank you versifier i have looked on the internet and there is not much info on lighter boolits. I will try the load you recomended backing off a little. thanks again seth

    The reason you aren't finding much data on lighter bullets is because it is a big game cartridge. Those wishing to go with lighter bullets usually are shooting .357mag or max. For safety's sake, you really should have copies of at least two current loading manuals. Think of it as cheap life insurance. You have to have a way to compare loads you find online with results of actual testing. Some of the loads people come out with are exercises in fantasy and are beyond dangerous - it's better not to find that out the hard way.

    and please dont even try that 110 in that case.

    i have a contender reloading manual it ays it is diffcult to getreliable expanion with rifle bullet s ith the 158 try h4227 imr4198 3031 imr 4895
    go slow and watch for pressure signs
