What powders do you use for 180gr bullets?

Good thing I keep detailed notes, these go back to the late 80's.

Same as the Garand, IMR 4895 & 4064, Varget. The two I loaded for both really liked Sierra 165GK's (1-1.5" @ 100yds), but each preferred a different powder. One of their owners wanted a 180gr moose load so I kept going and his rifle liked both the Sierra 180 RNPH and the 180 GK and kept them in 2-2.5" @ 100yds. I got about 30lbs of the most delicious meat on this good earth after his successful hunt. No complaints from me.

Dang it I am forever getting the 7400's and 7600's confused. I loaded for a pair of semi auto 740's, not the pump 760's. I'd still start with the same powders though. Sorry about that, one of us confused is enough.

Round Nose Pro Hunter, as opposed to a regular PH bullet with a spitzer point.

I have a 742 that works great with 58gr of RL-17 with 150 SST. They were just as good in my Rem 700 but my son didn't like the recoil. Worked up lighter loads using RL-15 that worked good with 51.7gr but were all over with 44.5gr of RL-15. I guess he will be using my 30-30 for our gun opener.
