    Question Brass? Copper?

Can anybody tell me the property differences between brass and copper? What I'm wondering is, why don't we have copper shells and brass jacketed bullets? It seems like they could be interchangeable like that.
    Thanks

We do have brass bullets, and I beleive that the cases that they used dering the buffillo rush were made of copper. Problum has the cases where to soft. They now add zink to copper to made brass
We make bullets out of brass 22 cases, and they have to be sofened alot, But they work very good.
Here is a link to a artical about copper cases used in a anti tank gun.

Oh I lost the link. RATS!!
