    Thing is my daughter who is in the medical field called while I was running a progressive loaded and I forgot to check powder supply when I went back to the loader.

    Must be a job security thing.

    So after weighing 700 rnds, I found only one more squib.

    Only had to pull one bullet.

    Yeah, I guess from habit I topped off the powder measure when I added cases.

    i hear ya brother!!!!
    best range rod i got is a steell pushrod out of an engine wrapped with electrical tape!!!
    not that i use it often ,but load long enuff & it will happen.
    i get it when powder gets contaminated fromm melted lube.

    I've only had one squibb so far. Luckily the round behind it was not able to chamber successfully or I would have, unfortunately, pulled the trigger on it. BA-BOOM!

    Wow! That is great that you found your squibb. With all the variation in the bullet & brass weights there'd be no way I could find a squibb by weighing them... (I'm talking 45 ACPs here).
