44 Special Data

Ok fellas here's my delima. I'm casting a Lyman 429244 bullet out of straight w/w and coming up with a 270gr slug. I've not been able to find any reloading data for that bullet weight in a 44 special load. Can anyone help me out with some data? Thanks

I was going to give you my load, but then I find mine weighs 250 grains.

You don't mention the platform you are using, so I don't even want to hazard a guess as to what to try.

Maybe someone else will come along with a real recommendation.

my 46th lymans goes to 250gr &5.7 gr. unique for starters.&6.6 max load
id start with 5.0 gr. unique jmho .

her's what i found for 44spec vv pwder n330 st 6.5 max7.2 fps=937

this will give you some ideal slow but a big chunk of lead ! you gas checking?
