    Red face For sale, 788 rem 223.

    FOR SALE
    Remington 788 in 223. Has a 1/14" twist, a redfield leupold style one piece base, and redfield rings. Comes with two mags. QD sling swivels. Has a Browning rubber recoll pad. The birch stock has some dings and scratches, but is in very good shape. The barrel is is good shape with hardly any finish wear, bore is clean and shiney. The gun shoots jacketed very good and is almost famous for how good it shoots cast.
    Asking $400.00 OBO with out scope.
    Asking $500.00 OBO with scope.
    Scope is a 3-9X42 leapers, and is a very nice clear scope.

    Has the bolt ever been redone yet. The bolt lever in 788's were famous for falling out when you least expect it. They were soldered in low temperateurs and a lot of them have been ruined by improper repairs. Its best to check with Remington to find a qualified gun smith in your area
