    Default rossi 62 trouble

I have a older rossi model 62 that I bought at the last gunshow. I had not shot it, for it has been in parts in my locker waiting for a blueing job and a stock refinsh. I had a friend over after chruch last sunday to go hunting/shooting. He asked if I had any thing to shoot so I went down the list. He did not want to shoot any of them, not even my MARLIN super squirrel sniper model 60. Then looking though the open door of the locker he spyed the rossi. Is that a rossi pump? Sure is. I WANT TO SHOOT IT!!!! I WANT TO SHOOT IT!!! Well I could put it together. YYYIIIPPPEEE!!! So I got it together, and we went to the range. That thing shot so bad we could not have hit a barn wall if I was standing beside it. So yesterday I went to clean it so I could so if it had muzzle wear or somthing. I went to grab the barrel and it twisted. That is not right, so I took off the stock and the mag. tube. And sure enough the barrel is lose. Now for the big thing. Is the barrel threaded or pressed. Do any of you know?
    Thank you.

GUN SHOW FEVER. I sold a S&W 916 pump 12 ga for $130 and bought that rossi. I have not had it tightened, but I did wrap some electrical tape to hold it steady as a test, and it shot as good as my marlin with a scope.

I agree. The nice thing is that the tape blends in with the gun becouse it is so beat up.
