Scopes

Peep sights are cheaper and hardly ever break. Good in the woods too.

Pickle, Nikons are pretty good scopes as well but the repair policy, attitude and service from Nikon is not very good at all, at least in my experience. You fellas may have had better dealing with them than I have. I test lots of bullets and stuff for Sierra and others and have a chance to use most of the scopes out there. Simmons, Weaver, Tasco and Bushnell I ash can right from the start. I just cannot get around the thought of having to send ten dollars in with a scope that did not work right out of the box but that is their policy. Leupold service is the best of any of them and Swarovski is pretty close as well. Burris is right up there for scopes that I have had trouble with. Seems that Burris just hates muzzle breaks and big guns. Nikon works well but service is lacking.

Mark if you ever need help testing any bullets I am often available. Shall I list the calibers here or in an e mail? I have thrown away two Weaver scopes which broke. I would never sell a broken scope to anyone. This was done to me by a local gun shop. Have never been back there. The reticle was loose. You could see it if you shook the scope.
