Default Hello from a disabled Vietnam veteran

I am really looking forward to speaking with all of you who reload and cast their. Own bullets. I have been doing both for over forty years and still enjoy it a lot! I am reloading a .45acp, .460 s&w magnum ( am having much difficulty finding cast load data for this one!), .308, 30-06. .35 rem. And the .44 magnum. Semper Fi! To all of you Marine warriors out there.

    Welcome to The Guide, Jarhead.

For your .460, start with jacketed data for a bullet the same weight or slightly heavier than you want to load. To find an accuracy node or to reduce the recoil of your practice loads, flake and extruded powders can be reduced below JStart levels, but not sphericals. Just like with your .44mag, if you have problems getting the same or better accuracy than you get with jacketed, slug your cylinder throats and forcing cone to see if they need to be opened up a bit.

But if they mean to have a war let it begin here."
