    Question Desert Eagle 44mag question?

    I reload for my super redhawk. How does the Desert eagle handle cast boolits. I have a round nose mold.

    Fairly well from what I have heard and read, but like any other firearm they can have individual preferences for certain bullets. The only way to find out is to try and see. As long as the bullets are sized correctlly and you check the gas port regularly to make sure lead or lube residues aren't blocking it, there should be no function or safety issues.
