Is it acceptable to reload without tumbling?? would this have adverse effects on accuracy? Shiny brass only affects feeding does it not? And usually only with auto loaders. or is this a bsd idea altogether?

I have a plan
i beat versifier to one woo hoo.
you don't need to clean/tumble your brass if you don't want to.
i have one and i do use it ,but not every time, nor for everything.
it is another tool and has it's place.
make sure you don't have mud or gunk inside them and you should be fine. a brush in the neck will help also.
In almost 35 years of loading, I have yet to clean one case. As far as I'm concerned, the only thing a tumbler does is introduce particulate lead into the air you breathe. Polishing brass also can hide warning signs of incipient case head separation, a serious concern for those who like to shoot old milsurps. But, you have to take really good care of your brass, wipe it off if it hits the dirt, etc., or you'll be scratching your sizing dies. Even though I use about 75% range brass, I've never had any problems. Martha Stewart is not welcome in my shop.
"Stand your ground.
Do not fire unless fired upon.
But if they mean to have a war let it begin here."
- Capt. Parker, Lexington Militia, April 19, 1775
Nah, you do not need to tumble unless you like nice looking cartridges. Doubt that they shoot any better.
I do tumble my 223 and Hornets to moly coat them.
