My go to load for my 94 in 357 has always been the 158 gr. Kieth SWC over 12 gr. of 2400. Shoots well, 2400 meters well, and the load seems to be accurate in every 357 I have ever shot. Good luck!

I also have a Marlin 357 Magnum and been using loads with Somchem S265 which is nearly equal to H4227 and IMR4227. I used Federal Smal Rifle primers since pistol primers did not ingnite all the powder properly and left unburned flakes in the barrel. As also started giving it a tighter taper crimp.
With 158gr JFN and 16.2gr of S265 the velocity was 1679fps and a Standard Deviation of 9.4fps. With 16.5gr of S256 the velocity was 1717 with a Standard Deviation of 27fps.
With a 180gr Copper Plated Bullet and 15.1gr of S265, the velocity was 1633fps with a Standard Deviation of 12.5fps.
I have previously dropped several waterhogs and Mountain Reedbuck with the 158gr JFN with one shot kills.
