Smile Green Dot & the 357 Mag

I loaded some rounds for a bud who insisted on GD.
I also loaded the same rounds with 2400 and you know who won that skirmish was the 2400. Better acuracey and balistrics.
Well now I am left with over 1/2 a pond of FREE Green Dot
Not a big fan of GD in any round but shotgun, and not real great there.
I've got loading manuals all the way back to 1979 too present and the load data is all over the place.
Here is what I plan on building and want any suggections as to someone elses expirance with Green Dot in the 357 Mag.
    Winchester brass
    6.5 gr GD
157 JHP Canlured bullet heavy crimp
    CCI primed
    OAL1.590
    Rugger 3 Screw

Green dot is a comfortable to shoot, highly accurate powder in the 44 Mag when loaded to 1000 fps. I think it would do the same in the 41 & 357.

Well I ran that recipe and another one I was just thinking about as well.
    The green dot grouped at 1 1/2 in at 25ft - ahhh - ok and 2.0 @ 25 yrds - Blah
Borrowed some IMR 4227 and loaded that at 15.2 gr same bullet, primer, etc,, and here is the result.
    DEAD NUT NILLY
At 25ft one behind the other - two holes side by side the other three rounds split the middle - at 25 yds 3/4 group is SA and 1.0 in DA

Green dot, red dot or unique. If you own almost any caliber pistol they will work well for you. And..as others have said..free is the best price of all.
