Right out of Left Field ?

OK just for something a little differant what are your faverite Chain saws & Bar sizes ? I cut nearly excluively Gum & Mulga & these are a very hard wood ! Although I have always Favored a Farm Boss (sthil ) with a 24inch Bar ! I picked up a Talon with a 14inch Bar & must admit to being mighty impressed with the little devil ! It's half the weight & takes a little longer to cut through larger branches .The wieght saving is great on a back that's not getting any younger ! :coffee:

The farm boss is a good saw. Dad went out and bought a 041 i think they are twice as big as a farm boss. we trimed with an ax. one of the little 09's would have been just fine.

Sthil 028 has been my choice for years. Currently own 2. My first one was lost in a house fire , it had cut many cords of wood and cleared lots of brush.
