I use all of their cleaning products & swear by them esp the cleaning jags that they put out (like a small piston ) They have made cleaning a pleasure! Great stuff

Well, now, Dave, I think you may be stretching things just a little bit, there.

Sure, I like to get one out now and then to "clean" it, even if it hasn't been fired since the last time I "cleaned" it. But making cleaning, I mean REAL CLEANiNG, a pleasure? That's just a little bit much, don't you think?:D

C1PNR .Belive me I really find cleaning my rifles a pleasure these days! Yep! I shoot proffestionaly& so at the end of the night they get a feild clean ! But when I get home I have invested in a fully automated cleaning system
It's called a son with a car who relys on me for his fuel  Yep its made cleaning firearms a real pleasure ! No clean to my standards = no fuel  I can sit & critisize him for hours !

Well, now I completely understand your comment and agree you are right!

Kids are all grown and gone, BUT I do have a Granddaughter who asks if we can clean a gun just about every time she comes over, so we do! Her Million Mom March Mother isn't too happy about it, but what the heck Sydney and I have fun![smilie=p:

I know that feeling ! I'm lucky though .When my wife & I got together about 4yrs ago she & her kids had never been out of the city & of course Tracey (my wife was dead scared of firearms & had a real problem about the fact that I shot for a living ! Now that she has lived around firearms & on the odd ocassion that she has had to despatch the odd snake or Fox around our place (we live on a farm ) She is the fist to get up on her soap box reguards firearms 7 their safe useage as a Tool & a Sporting peice of equipment !
So I say more power to you for teaching the next generation of shooter [smilie=w:

When you run out of tetra grease - go to the shoe repair store, that's right, the shoe repair store and get some Kiwi Mink Oil - open up the little round tin before you buy it
and smell the stuff and then put some on your finger - it is the same stuff more or less
without teflon (I have a tube right in front of me right now)
I was smelling some Hornady's Unique about 2 weeks ago and I swear that smell was very familiar but I could not put my finger on what it was - 4 in the morning I am laying in bed , and bingo it came to me - so I ran to the kitchen and opened up a can of kiwi mink oil and took it over to my buddy's shop who is one of the top benchrest shooters in the United States, Lewis Winkler is his name - he has a gun shop in Lenore, NC he has won way over 150 events in his 60 years of shoooting - he builds benchrest bullets and hunting bullets for 280 shooters all over the US - so I put the mink oil in an unmarked tin and told him to reload a .308 for me. He said it worked great - He was really surprised when I took out the Kiwi tin.

we have a website www.championsbrand.com - My grease and oil products are excellent - we were the grease and oil guys at the 1000 yard international benchrest championships several weeks ago in NC - my other cleaning products are new to the reloading market and my media modifier product ultra-60 will clean your brass in an hour and you don't have to have a cement mixer - though I would like to have one anyway for mixing corn and walnut media together since I feel it is the best combo to quickly clean brass
