Swapped for a little plinker and got a little tack driver. Neat little pistols!!! Been looking at these at Andy's for a while and i've never had a 22 auto before. Swapped a $75 turk and $20 cash for the pistol new in the box

Hi Toney

What does the beast look like?

Do you still have that Llama45? If you could post pics and a little report... :)

Yep i've still got the llama, it's got almost 2000 rounds through it without any hic-ups and no major wear. I'm pretty sure it was assembled right before they went under and the finish work is kinda crude. But really everything except the hammer beavertail and the top of the slide looks good. The top of the slide look to be hand finished on a grinder, the hammer and beaver tail are a little lopsided, the little mark on the beaver tail where the hammer hits it is'nt square with the frame. Both part work ok.

Was thinking about swapping it for an RIA, but after handling one i did'nt think it was all that much better. The slide on it was'nt that much tighter, and the finish that much better than the one on mine. After reading everything i could find on loose slides i think i can live with my $250 Llama

I don't think i will swapp this one, but if they would have had a $300 RIA at the show i would probably have bought one of them instead
