Hi, I would like to re-load some Hornaday .223, 52
GR BTHP MATCH rounds using Hodgson Benchmark powder. Does anyone have the powder weight tables for these heads and this powder? My rifle is a Tikka
M595, so any other advice about working up these rounds would be much appreciated.

If I understand your request correvtly, you need load data for the 52 gr. bulet using Benchmark powder.
The Hornady manual #8 shows 22.1 gr. of Benchmark as the etarting load for 2900 FPS and 25.0 gr. for 3200 FPS as the maximum load.

My rifle likes IMR 4198. Notice I did not tell the weight of powder.

Foxtrot would you really load something which you read on the internet without checking it out in a reloading manual? I never give out loads just in case I make a typo.

Notice Doc did not type in the weights of powder either.

Here is Hodgdon's data for a 53 grain Sierra. It should be safe to use with the 52 gr Hornady
