There was an article about loading brass shells in Guns of the Old West #67 Fall 2010.

The article was about shot loads and I found it interesting.

Has anyone loaded slugs in 12ga. Magtech brass shells?

http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/25-rds-magtech-loadable-brass-shotshells-12-ga.aspx?a=518023

It is an interesting question, and I would like to pursue it. Just want to know if this is something that is doable before I put a lot of cash into this project. I hope someone out there in the reloading world has some information or experience.

Loading dies are available from RCBS. Part# 99060.

Casting molds are available from Lyman. Part# 2654012

Usable slugs are available from many vendors.

Loading Data is in the Lyman shotshell reloading manual.

Wad data is available from Circle Fly and Track of the Wolf.

it's just a hull.
the internal dimensions will determine the loads you want to use.
column height and an easy, very slight, minimal, roll crimp will do what you need.

The general concensus seem to be to follow slug loads for plastic shells using the data and switching to 11 guage wad column. Just might try a couple and tie the old shotgun to a tire and fire with a string from 100 feet away. Then check the fired shell for over pressure signs? Good luck, Castalia

i'd look on ballistic products sight also, they have bout anything shotgun related you could imagine.
when i was doing a lot of shotgun stuff, i went there often [and called them] for off the wall and high performance stuff.
