has anyone used rex powder, i have a couple of cans of #2 and would like to use it on 9mm and 45acp, rex recommends 4.3gr with125 lead on 9 and 4.8 with 230 lead on 45, could i use fmj instead of lead, thanks

The FMJ has more friction then a cast, so I would not.

In case you haven't seen it, this might give you a better picture: http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?t=38423

Both your data are quoted as maximum, so I wouldn't be afraid of cutting 10% for a starting load.

Bullseye powder load.

I read on another thread about a low velocity 7.62x54R cast bullet load using Bullseye pistol powder, Which I have allot of. Has anyone ever attempted this? if so I would like some load data, if it is out there. Thanks
